 Embodied Pilates is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our services, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. This policy is effective as from today.

We collect your personal data because you give us consent to do so, in order to provide our specialist services to you.

  • Information in relation to the Liability Waiver/Terms and Conditions form;

  • Medical and lifestyle information, through conversation, observation and questionnaires;

  • Recordings of sessions with you;

  • Further clinical information in relation to reports from other health professionals.

  • From time to time we may ask you for further information, for example if you make a purchase.

We require this information for the purpose of:

  • Professional clinical record keeping of client/patient information;

  • Sharing with Supervisors in order to meet professional requirements;

  • Sharing information with relevant health professionals.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place highly secure electronic systems and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Controlling your personal information:

We share your information with our software services provider, Squarespace and paypal who process all purchases and bookings for us. If we believe that your use of the website is unlawful or damaging to others, we reserve the right to disclose the information we have obtained through the site about you to the extent that it is reasonably necessary in our opinion to prevent, remedy or take action in relation to such conduct.

In certain cases, however, your data cannot be deleted. For example, if your data is required to be retained by Embodied Pilates for a period of time for Professional and Liability Insurance purposes, contract or statutory responsibilities.
